Orbbit Data Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Orbbit Tech, Inc. ("Orbbit", "we") for Orbbit Data: the console at data.orbbit.co, the API at data-api.orbbit.co, and the connection that lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT use Orbbit Data. By creating an account, using an API key, or connecting an AI assistant, you agree to these terms.

If you use Orbbit Data for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to do so. Orbbit Data is a business service for people 16 and older.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in details and API keys private. You are responsible for all requests made with your keys or through AI assistants you connected.
• You can revoke an API key or disconnect an AI assistant at any time in the console.
• Tell us at once at info@orbbit.co if you think someone else is using your account.

Balance and pricing

• Orbbit Data is prepaid. New accounts start with a $5 balance. You add more by topping up in the console, paid through Stripe.
• Each paid API request or AI assistant tool call costs $0.01 and is taken from your balance. Some requests, such as listing what data is available, are free. Current prices are on the pricing page.
• When your balance cannot cover a request, the request is refused. Nothing is charged to your card unless you top up or turn on automatic top-up.
• Top-ups are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund. We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email; a change never applies to requests already made.

Acceptable use

You may use Orbbit Data in your own products, reports and decisions. You may not:

• Resell or redistribute Orbbit Data as a data feed or competing data service.
• Try to get around billing, request limits or security, or access accounts that are not yours.
• Overload the service, or use it in a way that breaks the law.

The data

• Orbbit Data comes from public sources such as USDA Market News and USDA FoodData Central. Each answer names its source and date.
• We work to keep the data accurate and up to date, but it is provided "as is". Check it before relying on it for important decisions. Orbbit Data is not financial, investment or legal advice.
• Orbbit Data only reads data. It does not place orders, move money, or change anything in your other accounts.

Privacy

How we handle your information is described in the Orbbit Data Privacy Policy.

Changes and availability

We may add, change or remove data sets and features. We aim to keep Orbbit Data available at all times but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Orbbit is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Orbbit in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your use

You can stop using Orbbit Data at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections on pricing already owed, the data, and liability continue to apply after an account closes.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. For changes that affect you materially, we will email account owners before they take effect.
